Back to school

Summer is going and Autumn is calling... Time to back to school and for me, it´s time to be back here. All time out of here was not out of crafting. I was scrapbooking and sewing for my girls... and very busy at job. So, I left blogging apart.

To start this new season I want to show you part of the new miniatures coming to my etsy shop, more vanity/perfume sets and some sewing items.

"Nautical Memories" Album

Today I want to show you a special album that I made recently for a friend that loves the sea, the ships, the waves... all nautical items. I used the Seashore Collection from Prima Marketing.

The binding is with a spine, and all pages have big tags to keep lot of photos (total 26 photos). These are some of the interior pages:

I want to take part in this great challenge at Mi Tienda de Arte: the teal challenge.  Teal is one of my prefer colors so, I felt in love with this page in special. It remembers me the holiday relax that I miss...

Also, I want to add a tip about the binding, I always add a piece of painter tape to each fold in order to reinforce it, only inside. When you add the scrapbooking paper, cardstock and spine you don´t feel it and it will resist more time, to be folded and unfolded...

Also all my pages are created with Cameo Silhouette to make the waves and other sailor accents in the tags and pockets. I try several ones before choose the final one.
